ZOMG!!! This took forever and a day! Actually, no it didn't... but it still took forever because of the mere fact that i used Corel Paint X for most of the background ... then my trial died on me... and i was once again stuck with Paint Shop Pro v. 7...... SO! Out of the 30 days that i got... i probably only used a good week... yep... it's horrible... i really liked Corel too... "sighs"
But anywho! This is how i originally saw my picture colored and i'm kinda glad that it turned out like this. Don't comment on her thigh though, i know it's long... but just imagine her having long thighs! LOL! The dark building behind her i did in PPv7... i wanted it to somewhat look like my corel...
Other than that.... IT WAS FUN! Took a while, but well worth it!
Also, i'm sorry i haven't updated some decent colored pics in a while, so for all of you! HERE YA GO!
Colored in Corel Painter X
Colored in Paintshop Pro v. 7
waaah the coloring is amazing O_o And the drawing too Especially the folds in her clothes (wich is really hard to do I think..) The only critique I'd have to make is that the buildings look too static, maybe you could've tried putting some perspective Then again, it would look weird... Never mind what I just said Leave it as it is and it'll be perfect
I am just speechless, Jeri, this piece is fantastic!!!
Your background work is extremely beautiful, and the way you colored the sky gives the whole piece such a spacious feel. I'm definitely taking notes on how you did the clouds....fair warning!
Hm, and I have to also say i'm very very impressed with how well, and realistically, you portrayed the light, with it glaring from between the two skyscrapers, the lines that extend from it, and then the subtle circles of glare spots (have no idea if that's what they're called, but work with me here! )
Finally, some of the other things that are quite pleasing to the eye are the texturing of skin, clothes, and especially leather boots on the girl, the way you did sunshine reflecting off of her works beautifully too, and don't think I'd forget the texture on the concrete she's sitting on! you're gonna have to tell me how you pulled that one, love!
"shakes finger" Nuh-uh! A true artist doesn't share their art. Only the other artist can learn from trying to copy the emotions the original artist put into it.
MWAHAHAHA! Deep! I love my art class! Anywho! You downloaded Corel! Unless if you took it off, why don't you try playing with some pictures in it? I love the sponge, that's how i did the sky and clouds... basically everything.
Thanks so much for the comment, love, much appreciated.
